Death Run Society is an organization dedicated to promoting an active lifestyle while having fun. We will be hosting a variety of events including fun runs, adventure races, 5k's, and triathlons. The main goal of these events is to raise funding for shoes for kids in need. We believe that every child deserves to have proper footwear, as it plays a crucial role in their overall health and well-being. By participating in our events, you not only get to enjoy the thrill of running or competing, but also contribute to a great cause. So lace up your sneakers and join us for some exciting races and activities, and help us make a difference in the lives of children by promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

EVENTS:
SUPER SPRINT - 400 yard swim, 6 mile bike, 1.5 mile run
SPRINT - 750 yard swim, 12 mile bike, 5k run
OLYMPIC- .8 mile swim, 24 mile bike, 6 mile run
DUATHLON - 5k run, 12 mile bike, 5k run
Come race with us! Swim in northwest Oklahoma's largest lake and enjoy the spectacular view of the lake as you bike across the Canton dam and down Thunder Road. The entire course will be closed to vehicle traffic for the race. Both the biking and running courses are fast and flat, offering stunning views of Canton Lake in the morning sunrise.
Bring your tent or camper and make reservations at Recreation.gov to stay in Canadian Campground, next to the triathlon race hub and have a fun, relaxing race weekend!
Other local accommodations include Crappie King Cabins, AirBNB, and the Canton Motel in Canton, all just minutes from the race location. If staying at the lake or in Canton, be sure to feed your fuel or enjoy a recovery meal at the Overlook Cafe (located along the course on the dam), El Charro's, Smokin' Bro's barbeque, or catch a meal and try your luck at the Canton Lucky Star Casino's restaurant, The Rez.
Initially there was an error in the starting race time on runsignup; it showed 7:45 a.m., this is incorrect, the race time is at 06:45 a.m.

Death Runs
Complete a Death Run and become a Shirted Death Run Society Member. Death Runs are based off of historical military marches that required endurance and extreme fortitude to survive, for example, events that occurred in Bataan in 1942 and Chosin Reservoir in 1950.
